Site work and renovation of a recreation facility in Waltonville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a recreation facility; and for the renovation of a recreation facility.

Itemized list of sound equipment is required to serve expanded areas of RiverEdge Park. Base bid includes purchase of equipment and alternate bid includes the potential installation of specified equipment. Question Deadline 01/21/2026 at 11:00 AM CT online submission. The Bidder may be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the full contract price, Public Liability Insurance, and Workers Compensation Insurance; all of which shall be acceptable to the City of Aurora. The City intends to pursue a contract with the lowest qualified bidder. It is anticipated that City Council approval could be obtained as early as 2/24/26 City Council meeting. The City intends to issue a notice of intent pending recommendation for approval at the committee level on 2/9/26. The City will decide during the award of the contract whether to award the alternate bid to have the contractor install the equipment or if the alternate bid is not awarded and the City will use staff to install the equipment. Raceways and wire required for equipment installation have already been installed and is ready for connection. The City reserves the right to add or deduct quantities of the requested items being purchased. If selected for installation, the Contractor shall coordinate with City IT staff to ensure that the installation of equipment does not interfere with existing equipment at River Edge Park, including closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and Wi-Fi devices. The Contractor shall work with City IT staff to test and verify that the installed equipment causes no radio frequency interference or obstruction of sight lines. The allowed hours of work are between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Saturdays. No work shall be done on Sundays or Holidays. Equipment shall not be started before 6:45 AM. The Contractor shall take out and procure at his own expense all permits and licenses required by Federal, State or local public authorities, and he shall, without extra compensation from the City, pay all fees and charges and give notices required incident to the due and lawful prosecution of the work in relation thereto. The City reserves the right to add or deduct quantities of the requested items being purchased.
