The Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians ("Tribe" or "LVD") is seeking proposals from qualified contractors ("Contractor") in the creation of a Microgrid Feasibility Study ("Project"). The goal of this Project is to create a robust microgrid feasibility study that positions the Tribe to pursue future construction and implementation funding by identifying strategies to achieve energy efficiency and carbon neutrality. The Project will include at least two (2) technically and financially viable microgrid scenarios for the LVD Services Complex as described in Section III. The Project will encompass actionable recommendations for implementation, including capital and operational cost estimates, projected energy savings, and anticipated emission reductions. This project will assist in developing long-term cost savings while supporting the Tribe's goals. RFP Questions and Answer Period 1/12/2026-2/10/2026 All questions during the proposal period should be forwarded, in writing, to Leah Schenk, Energy Manager, at leah.schenk@lvd-nsn.gov. All Contractors submitting proposals must be licensed to do business in all states and have the experience, licenses, and necessary resources to provide services for LVD's current and future operations. Applicants are required to submit an original proposal and five (5) copies in an envelope clearly marked "LVD MICROGRID FEASIBILITY STUDY". LVD reserves the right to reject any or all responses to this RFP, to waive minor irregularities in any proposal or in the RFP procedures, and to accept any proposal presented which meets or exceeds these specification and which is deemed to be in the best interests of LVD.
