The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid. a. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at the UI Health Care John Pappajohn Pavilion Level 5, with supporting work occurring on the L9 Roof, L4 Heart & Vascular Clinic, and Lower Level Temporary Space. b. The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated January 12, 2026. c. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. d. General Description of Work: 1) Project consists of but is not limited to approximately 2,766 SF of renovation in John Pappajohn Pavilion (JPP) Level 5 West for the Surgical Pathology Lab with multiple phases to the construction process. Scope of work will include demolition of doors, partitions, finishes, miscellaneous mechanical equipment and construction of complete interiors including new partitions, doors, finishes, casework, and MEPT systems to support new and existing operations. Lower level work will enable phase 2. The work in this room includes the demolition and new installation of plumbing and electrical services to support temporary grossing stations. Level 4 above ceiling work will be multi-phased to serve the grossing lab Construction occurring on level 5. Renovation of the L5 Grossing Lab at the UI Health Care John Pappajohn Pavilion. All inspections of the work areas are limited to the official site tour scheduled after the pre-bid conference. Attendance must be confirmed with Rob Winters during the conference.
