Consulting firms are invited to apply to be placed on a quick response consultant source list to provide 'as and when required' professional services for commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional construction work required by the Department of National Defence at CFB Shilo, Manitoba. Source lists will be established for architecture, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. Typical services consist of preparation of a statement of requirements, preparation of concepts, design development, construction documents, and assistance during the tendering and construction phases for new buildings or renovations to existing buildings. Only consulting firms with offices within 50 km of Building P101, 1st Floor Shilo, MB R0K 2A0 will be considered. Firms must apply by submitting the RESPONSE FORM through MERX’s electronic bidding system. Faxed, mailed, or emailed submissions will not be accepted. Consulting firms will be selected on a rotational basis and must confirm their qualifications for each commission. Some contracts may require deliverables in both official languages; only firms capable of producing such will be considered for these contracts. Firms must comply with applicable laws, codes, and municipal by-laws, and be authorized to provide professional services as required by law in Manitoba. Consulting firms must also comply with DCC’s performance standards, procurement code of conduct, and security clearance requirements.
