No definite date for the rebid.** The project consists of the construction and installation of the Crown Point Pump Station in Corolla, North Carolina. Bids shall be lump sum bids based upon the defined scope of work in the contract documents, plans, and specifications. Instructions to bidders include the requirement to submit sealed bids, either mailed or hand-delivered, ensuring receipt at the bid opening location. Each bid must include a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond equal to five percent of the total bid amount as a guarantee of contract entry. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and a payment bond for one hundred percent of the contract amount. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 30 days after the scheduled closing. Bidders must meet licensing requirements under North Carolina law. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
