Reference number: 20116246 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2026-01-26 Description: The Laval Integrated Health and Social Services Centre (CISSS de Laval) is seeking bids for the installation of a fall protection system on the third-floor courtyard of Wing B at the Cite-de-la-Sante Hospital, in connection with Project No. 2021-108. The project consists mainly of the supply and complete installation of a permanent fall protection system in the courtyard on the 3rd floor of Wing B at the Cite-de-la-Sante Hospital at 1755 Rene-Laennec Boulevard, Laval, QC, H7M 3L9. This system will be used to ensure the safety of workers who must travel on existing walkways in a confined space obstructed by various conduits. The contractor must take into account that this building is a hospital that remains occupied during the duration of the works. The building is in continuous operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To ensure that work can be carried out without disrupting the provision of care, the contractor must familiarise themselves with the methods to be followed for phasing the work, service interruptions, temporary installations and other instructions specific to a project in a hospital environment. The contractor must also refer to the complete plans and specifications (structure) to determine the precise scope of the work and the protective measures required. The work consists of, but is not limited to: - Providing all permits other than the construction permit, including related documents; - Demolition of elements; - Temporary work; - Containment work related to infection control; - Containment work related to user safety; - Drilling; - Coordination of work according to the phasing and schedule to be provided by the contractor; - Participation in weekly meetings with the project manager and other meetings on request; - Waste removal; - Daily and final cleaning of the site; - Provision of documents relating to documentation and site closure.
