As of February 10, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on February 17, 2026. Project DPW-2616 includes the completion of full roadway reconstruction/HMA pavement replacement, drainage improvements, removal and replacement of sidewalk and curb, and restoration work at locations along Kerry Court. Additionally, removal and replacement of sidewalk and curbs, HMA pavement milling and resurfacing activities will be constructed along Sterling Avenue along with other associated work. All bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the Village of Palatine. A current IDOT Certificate of Eligibility, with work category 003 Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA) Plant Mix listed, must be received before 12:00 p.m. CST, January 26, 2026 at bidinfo@palatine.il.us for the bid to be considered. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or bank draft in an amount equal to five percent of the bid, payable to the Village of Palatine, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute a contract and furnish a contract bond as set forth in the Project Documents. If the bidder fails to file such contract and bond, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Village of Palatine as liquidated damages. The Village of Palatine reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to accept any proposal which the Village Council deems most favorable to the interests of the Village.
