The City of Hampton is seeking bids from qualified bidders to provide construction services for the Charlton Drive Slide Gate as per attached specifications. Work will commence work within 3 calendar days after the date of notice to proceed letter, and that bidder will complete all work, as specified (to include codes inspection and owner acceptance) shall be completed within 120 calendar days. Bids will be received in the Issuing Office until the closing date and time specified, including any addenda issued. Bids will also be received electronically only via DemandStar. Bids received by telephone, email, facsimile, or any other means of electronic transfer will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids in whole or in part and waives any informality in the competitive sealed bidding process. The City also reserves the right to enter into any one or more contracts deemed to be in its best interest. The entire contents of the ITB, addenda, and bidder’s bid shall be incorporated by reference into any resulting contract. All inquiries for information regarding this ITB are to be directed to the Issuing Office as defined. All questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing by the specified deadline. All terms and conditions in this solicitation apply to the bid and any resulting contract.
