The City of Pembroke Pines intends to negotiate and award a procurement for the Symbiont™ Model Ph300 Geothermal Pool Heating/Cooling System for the Academic Village. This sole-source procurement is based on the justification that the Symbiont PH300 geothermal pool heater is the only system that meets the City's technical and site-specific needs, operates with the existing well-water infrastructure, requires no redesign of plumbing or power systems, and offers combined heating/cooling and titanium heat exchangers for durability and efficiency. The PH300 model is exclusively manufactured to Symbiont specifications and is only available through Symbiont Services Corporation. Interested vendors who believe they can meet or exceed these requirements must submit clear and convincing documentation. No action is required if there is agreement with the sole-source determination; otherwise, responses with vendor details and statements of capability must be submitted electronically by the specified deadline. Responses will be used solely to determine whether a competitive procurement process should occur in the future and will not be considered proposals, bids, or quotes.
