Scope of Work includes Drainage Facilities & Paving and Appurtenances. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total bid amount, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates and Bonds within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the successful bidder. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver the original certified or cashier's check within one (1) business day of receipt of the bid opening. Bidding documents may be examined at LJA Engineering, Inc., AGC of Texas, ConstructConnect, and Amtek or may be obtained by prospective bidders or suppliers upon payment. Electronic bids and bid securities must comply with Owner's adopted electronic bidding rules and be submitted through the specified website. Bidders must register and obtain documents on the website to submit an electronic bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in the bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder which, in the Board's judgment, will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
