The project is located at Waverly-Shell Rock High School Stadium in Waverly, IA. The work includes the removal of the existing natural turf field, existing track surfacing, and associated field event surfaces. It includes the construction of a synthetic turf field, synthetic track surface, and associated field event surfaces. Also included are black vinyl-coated chain link fencing, concrete sidewalk, storm drainage, seeding, lighting, and erosion control. The work shall commence on April 10, 2026 and must be substantially completed by August 14, 2026. Each bidder must accompany the bid with bid security of 5% of the bid amount in the specified form. Successful bidders must furnish corporate surety bonds for 100% of the contract. Bidders must provide a statement of residency status and adhere to Iowa Administrative Code regarding tax exemption on materials. Performance and payment bonds are required. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after the bid closing time. Do not include sales tax on the bid form. Question Deadline 01/26/2026 No interpretation of the meaning of the Drawings, Specifications or other prebid documents will be made to any Bidder orally.
