As per the Owner the project has been cancelled due to required redesigning of the project. The bid will be re-solicited at a later date. REPLACEMENT OF COUNTY BRIDGE NO. C0512, AMWELL ROAD (CR 514) OVER TRIBUTARY OF THE SOUTH BRANCH OF THE RARITAN RIVER, TOWNSHIP OF HILLSBOROUGH, SOMERSET COUNTY, NEW JERSEY. o Installation, maintenance and removal of soil erosion and sediment control devices o Installation, maintenance and removal of traffic protection devices associated with the vehicular detour o Coordination with utility for gas main relocation o Maintenance and protection of stream flow during construction o Removal of existing culvert's superstructure and substructure o Removal of existing parapets, and guide rail o Construction of proposed culvert structure including wingwalls and parapets o Installation of new drainage inlets and pipe, cleaning existing drainage system o Widening the existing roadway approach to meet the new bridge width o Installation of guide rail protections o Resurfacing the entire roadway within the limits as shown on the plan o Installation of new pavement, traffic striping and signs Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Somerset County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract.
