Renovation of an educational facility in Tollesboro, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project scope includes a selective roof replacement at Tollesboro Elementary School. Work will include existing roof demolition down to the deck, and installation of new SBS roofing over polyisocyanurate insulation. Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of each proposal submitted must accompany each Proposal in accordance with the Form of Proposal. Right to Reject and Waiver: The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner or to reject any bid where evidence or information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the Contract Documents. The Owner's desire to waive irregularities and informalities as to a bid shall be reviewed and final judgement made by the Kentucky Department of Education, Division of Facilities Management, prior to approval of the contract and financing plan. The successful bidder must supply a 100% Performance and Payment Bond as outlined in the Project Manual. The last date for the Architect to receive items to be addressed in any addenda is January 27, 2026 by 12:00 p.m. EST. All requests must be submitted to the Architect in writing.
