This Contract includes the construction of a water main extension with water services and curb stops to adjacent residential properties. The actual number of connections to the public water system to be made is dependent upon the acceptance of connection offers provided by the United States Navy to residents in addition to acceptance of connection offers provided by the Northampton, Bucks County, Municipal Authority. The project includes the horizontal directional drill installation of 8-inch water main, water main taps, fire hydrants, automatic flushing station/sampling station, services, meter pits, plumbing connections, disconnection of wells and all appurtenances. Construction will occur in the State Highway, Township Road, rights-of-way and easement areas on private property. Contractor shall be responsible for providing all necessary erosion and sedimentation controls and restoration (the Project). Each bidder must visit the site of the work and acquaint itself with conditions affecting the work. Bidders are not authorized to enter private property.
