The Contract No. 1 work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, approximately 3,665 SY of Polymer-Modified Emulsified Asphalt, Type A, Double Application. The Contract No. 2 work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, approximately 18,480 SY milling, and 4,455 TON bituminous wearing course. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10 percent of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. These Contracts are subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions (Contract No. 2 - Paving), the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions, the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002, the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222, Condition requirement of a noncollusion affidavit, the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions, and the Public Works Employment Verification Act.
