Scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following Labor, material and equipment necessary replace the existing gravel parking lot at the corner of Panther Drive and Willetts Drive with a paved parking lot. The work will occur on Panther Drive, Knoxville, Iowa 50138. Given by order of the Board of Directors of the Knoxville Community School District. The Board of Directors of the Knoxville Community School District will receive bids to replace the athletics gravel parking area with a paved parking lot at the corner of Pather Dr. and Willetts Dr., Knoxville, IA 50138. Construction is intended to start after the owner's receipt and approval of required contracts, bonds, and insurance, with substantial completion on or before August 15th, 2026. Bids received after the deadline or at the wrong location will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Copies of the bid documents are available digitally or as physical copies with a deposit sum. The bid security must be made payable to the Knoxville Community School District and must not contain any conditions in its body or endorsement. The successful bidder must furnish a certificate of insurance and performance and labor and material payment bonds in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, in accordance with other requirements outlined in the bid documents. Submitted bids cannot be withdrawn until 30 days after submission. The project is tax exempt; bidders should not include Iowa State sales tax in bid totals. Contractors and suppliers will be provided an Iowa sales tax exemption certificate for the project.
