Renovation of a multi-residential development in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The goal of the program is to promote neighborhood stability and preserve the existing supply of single-family homes by assisting moderate income homeowners with repairs to their homes. The maximum budget is: Workforce/Urgent Housing Repairs up to $20,000; H.O.M.E Project Repairs $40,000 (Non-Lead) to $50,000 (Lead). The scope of work includes but is not limited to: HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting & Wallpaper, Drywall & Plaster, Floor Coverings, Electrical, and Roofing Repairs. The scope is specific to each home. Instructions to bidders: It is mandatory that each vendor representative attend a pre-bid site visit. All attendees must sign in upon arrival; late arrivals will not be allowed to sign in or bid. Attendees must stay for the duration of the site visit. No allowances will be made for conditions that should have been recognized during the site visit. Bidders should only rely on written addenda for official guidance, as information released verbally at the site visit is not binding unless confirmed in writing. Written questions must be emailed as specified, and proposals must be submitted in hard copy to the specified address by the deadline.
