(MikeB@rlaland.com) Pickleball Court Renovations. This project is for reconstruction of newly installed pickle ball courts at Buttery Brook Park in South Hadley, Massachusetts. The existing site consists of athletic fields. The proposed construction project generally consists of removal of the existing fencing and posts (salvaging materials where possible), milling and/or full-depth removal of the asphalt surface, regrading, compacting, and repaving the courts to achieve the proper slope and conditions prior to the application of sport court coatings. Phases include site preparation, earthwork, paving, court surfacing, posts, netting, fencing, lighting, utility work and conduits, and associated site improvements as described herein. ALTERNATE PRICING FOR: Shade Structure o This Alternate includes the furnishing and installation of a shade structure to serve the renovated pickleball courts, including all labor, materials, equipment, and coordination necessary for a complete and functional installation. The scope shall include the shade structure system, foundations and anchorage, connections to adjacent improvements as required, and compliance with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and manufacturer specifications. The Contractor shall coordinate layout and installation with other trades and site features to ensure compatibility with the overall project design. B. Contract Term Length and Renewal Options The contract term will be June 12, 2026. All work performed under this contract must be completed by this date.
