Project Description: The project site 1. Spillane Field is located at Wareham Middle School in Wareham MA. The project entails upgrading the existing football and baseball field lighting to an energy-efficient LED athletic lighting system, including (but not limited to) removal and disposal of seven (7) existing wooden light poles, installation of six (6) new poles with LED luminaires, and retrofitting one (1) existing metal pole with upgraded LED luminaires, resulting in a seven (7) pole system. Work also includes associated electrical upgrades including new/updated conduits, wiring, and appurtenances, complete, tested, and commissioned in accordance with the Contract Documents and specified lighting performance criteria, including meeting NCAA lighting standards. Each bidder must inform himself fully of the conditions relating to the scope of work, project site conditions and employment of labor thereon. Failure to do so will not relieve the successful bidder of his obligation to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to carry out the provisions of the contract work scope. Insofar as possible, the Contractor must not interfere with the normal operations of the building.
