Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Seminole, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Sealed Bids are invited for the construction of the City-Wide Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Project. The project consists of AMI Meter Improvements, including replacement of approximately 3,233 meters and required appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and must be on a unit price basis. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and include bid bond, performance bond, payment bond, and maintenance bond. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or handicap. Bidders must comply with the President’s Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, and fully adhere to Department of Environmental Quality Small, Minority, Women’s Businesses Requirements, including taking affirmative steps to contract with such businesses during this contract. Davis Bacon Act wage rules apply, requiring prevailing wage rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor. American Iron and Steel provisions apply, requiring all iron and steel products to be produced in the United States. This project is also subject to Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act requirements, which stipulate that all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project must be produced in the United States. Registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) is mandatory for all applicants and awardees.
