Princeton Township is requesting bids for road improvements to 50th Avenue / Jarvis Street. The project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of approximately: 41,000 LF Silt Fence; 1.0 AC Clear & Grub; 29,000 SY Full Depth Bituminous Reclamation; 44,800 LF Shoulder Reconstruction; 1,700 CY Common Excavation; 4,400 CY Topsoil Borrow; 2,000 SY Geogrid; 19,000 TN Class 5 Aggregate Base; 9,200 TN Bituminous Pavement; 2,100 TN Crushed Concrete Shouldering; together with other necessary appurtenances according to the plans and specifications. The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and companies responding to the Advertisement for Bids must comply with this statute. Bids will only be accepted via the electronic bidding service through QuestCDN. Princeton Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the bidding documents. Any ambiguity or discrepancy drawings and specifications, no matter how seemingly insignificant to the CONTRACTOR, shall be brought immediately to the attention of the ENGINEER for clarification. The ENGINEER shall promptly correct such ambiguity or discrepancy in writing. Any CONTRACTOR who fails to bring any ambiguity or discrepancy in writing of which it was or should have been aware, shall assume the risk of loss because of, and shall be allowed no claim for the misinterpretation of the drawings and specifications contrary to the intended interpretation of the ENGINEER. Work done by the CONTRACTOR after his discovery of such discrepancies, inconsistencies or ambiguities shall be done at the CONTRACTOR's risk.
