Kankakee Valley School Corporation - Water Distribution Improvements Sealed bids are requested for the Kankakee Valley School Corporation - Water Distribution Improvements project. Bidding and construction are to follow the construction documents prepared by Barton-Coe-Vilamaa, Architect and Engineers, Inc., available from their office. Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond of not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum bid. Successful bidders are required to furnish an approved Performance Bond, Labor and Materials Payment Bond, and a Maintenance Bond, all of which remain in effect for twelve months from the substantial completion of the work. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who complies with bidding conditions, provided the bid is reasonable and in the best interest of the owner. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with relevant Indiana Code. Bids not received by the specified deadline will be returned unopened to the original bidder.
