Description

Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The proposed work includes all labor, materials, tools, supplies, utility and transportation services, equipment and all incidentals necessary for the 2026 Pedestrian Curb Ramp Retrofit Program. All work shall be done in strict compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by City Staff. Bids must be submitted electronically via the designated submission system, and contractors must be registered as a supplier. Prices should be free of all sales taxes, and a tax exemption certificate will be issued for construction materials incorporated into the project. For bids over $100,000, a Bid Bond of 5% is required, and a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required from the awarded contractor. The contractor must complete all work, including final cleanup and equipment removal, before the specified completion date. Liquidated damages will be assessed for each working day beyond the completion date that the work is not complete. Manufacturer's written warranties and guarantees are also required.
