Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hantsport, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This work includes the renewal of public streets and services as shown on the project drawings. Renewal of public streets and underground services including earthwork (mass excavation, disposal, grade changes), full water system renewal (300 mm Bionax watermain, hydrants, laterals, valves, temporary water), wastewater system work (DR35 sanitary mains, manholes, services), stormwater system work (450-900 mm RCP storm sewer, culverts, catch basins, headwalls, ponds, ditching), complete road reconstruction (gravels, asphalt, curbs, sidewalks, TWSI, retaining walls, pavement markings, geotextile, signage), landscaping (topsoil & sod), environmental protection, traffic control, permits, coordination, protection of utilities. Any attempt by the Proponent or any of its employees, agents, contractors, or representatives to contact members of Municipal Council or Municipal staff not identified in this clause may lead to disqualification. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders and to award the contract to whomever the Owner deems appropriate, and the Owner may award a portion or all of the work to one or more contractors.
