Paving and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Gardnerville, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The scheduled work for the project consists of installation of ADA compliant concrete sidewalk and railing. The minimum licensing requirements are set forth by the Nevada State Contractors Board and the contractor shall be capable of being bonded for this project. A bid security in the form of a Certified or Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid is required. The Prevailing Wage Rate as established by the State Labor Commission shall be paid on projects with a contract price of $100,000 or more. NRS 338.147 provides for a 5 percent bidder preference to bidders who qualify for the preference, with requirements detailed in the contract documents. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the pre-bid conference, but it is not mandatory.
