Renovation of a multi-residential development in Revere, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a eight-unit multi-residential development.
Sealed bids are invited from contractors for fire alarm upgrades and Federal Pacific panel replacements at eight scattered site state-aided housing locations. The work includes replacement of existing fire alarm systems, apartment load centers, house panels, and related work specifically at 39 Highland Street, as well as all sites. Additional chase work is involved at Liston Towers, and asbestos remediation is required. Bidders must submit requests for information online and bids must be submitted electronically. General bidders must be certified in electrical work by DCAMM and provide a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement. A bid deposit of at least 5% of the greatest possible bid amount is required. Bidders must contract with minority and women business enterprises for at least 13% of the contract price. Workforce participation benchmarks are set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities. All instructions for electronic bidding and registration are included in the bid documents.
