Suffolk Downs Phase 1R Offsite Roadway Improvements - Route 1A On-Ramp Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The project includes infrastructure, sidewalk, center median and guardrail reconstruction and improvements on Route 1A Southbound from the on-ramp at mile marker 52.4 to approximately mile marker 52.1 in the City of Revere, Massachusetts. The improvements include enhancements to the pedestrian and roadway facilities, the installation of new hot mix asphalt sidewalks, new cement concrete pedestrian ramps, removal and modification to existing medians, installation of vertical granite curbing, full depth pavement reconstruction, box widening, structural mill and overlay, new pavement marking installation, and installation of new signage. The goals for this project are a minimum of: (1) a minority employee work force goal of 15.30 percent, (2) a women employee work force goal of 6.90 percent, (3) a goal of 7.24 percent participation of Minority-owned Business Enterprise(s), and (4) a goal of 3.60 percent participation of Woman-owned Business Enterprise(s) within the project Contract.
