Scope of work includes Removal of all existing roofing systems down to the structural concrete, including tile and roofing felts. Removal of all existing roof related flashings, fascia and copings. Demolition and installation of new / repair of the existing concrete deck. Installation of a self-adhered vapor retarder throughout the roof areas. Installation of a minimum of two layers of insulation on underside of roof deck (U_0.032) in area identified. Installation of terracotta tiles. Installation of a modified bituminous roof system on coverboard on insulation on flat roof area. Installation of new metal flashings, roof edges and rising wall locations. Installation of new and repair of existing outriggers. Isolated brick repairs including replacement and repointing. Abatement of asbestos containing roofing cement and caulking. l. Installation of new ceilings. Install signage to direct the public to the rear accessible entrance. In the men’s toilet room, raise the sink, relocate the toilet paper dispenser, and lower the mirror. o. Remove existing call station at rear entrance and install new video call station. Replace selected structural steel roof framing. Frame and install new gypsum plaster ceiling. The project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 6,233 square feet of roofing on six roof areas, replacement of the structural concrete deck where deteriorated, repair and replacement of deteriorated timber outriggers, abatement, masonry repairs, toilet room upgrades, video intercom relocation and signage for accessibility.
