The Scope of Work for the Gamma Avenue Water Main Replacement - Part A Project consists of the following o Base Bid work includes: o Removal of existing water main, valves, hydrants, etc. o New 8" and 12" ductile iron water main, hydrants, valves, services, etc. o Concrete trench cap over water main o Concrete walk and curb replacement associated with waterworks o Site Restoration o Follow the OMUTCD for maintenance of traffic, signage, safety, etc Sealed bids are invited for the Gamma Avenue Water Main Replacement - Part A. Each bid must include the full names of all interested parties, an affidavit of interested parties, and for corporations not chartered in Ohio, a certificate authorizing business in Ohio. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for the full amount (100%) or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the Owner. The bid guaranty benefits the Owner if the awarded bidder fails to execute the contract, provide the required bond, and insurance certificates within ten days of notification of award. To be considered a responsive bidder for this project, interested contractors must purchase a set of plans and bid documents and follow all provided instructions. Bids from contractors not listed on the Plan Holders List will be disqualified. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and accept any bid deemed most favorable.
