The City of McLendon-Chisholm ("City") is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide routine lawn care and grounds maintenance services at designated City properties (City Hall). Services shall be performed in accordance with standard horticultural and landscape maintenance practices. Scope of Services Proposals shall include pricing for the following services only: Edging of sidewalks, curbs, and planted beds using a metal blade Monthly hand-weeding of planted beds Seasonal color (see following examples): Spring: Tulips, Pansies, and Dianthus Summer: Marigolds, Petunias, and Daisies Autumn: Chrysanthemums, Dahlias, and Asters Tree limb pruning to a minimum clearance of 8 feet over sidewalks and entrances Pruning of shrubs, groundcover, ornamental grasses, and crape myrtles in accordance with proper horticultural practices Routine trash and debris removal from landscaped areas Storm damage services, to be quoted upon City request Irrigation system monitoring and adjustment; all irrigation repairs shall require prior City approval. Damage caused by contractor shall be repaired at no cost to the City. Excluded Services Mowing, line trimming, fertilization, weed control, pest control, and mulch installation are excluded from this RFP. Term The City anticipates a one-year agreement with renewal options. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Any questions must be sent to citymanager@mclendon-chisholm.
