**As of February 25, 2026, the project was awarded to MV Electric but the awarded amount is not available.** The Town of Lakeville, Massachusetts is seeking quotations from qualified vendors for furnishing, delivery, and installation of a standby generator and related accessories at the Lakeville Animal Shelter. Quotations must comply with the wage rates and weekly payroll submittals required by the Prevailing Wage Law. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject in whole or in part, any or all quotations, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. Location and Work to be Done The work consists of furnishing labor and materials necessary for the installation of a 22 KW standby generator, and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the scope of work and product specifications herein. Work will take place at the Lakeville Animal Shelter, located at 8 Montgomery Street, Lakeville, MA. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item. Scope of Work Product Specifications Generator: 22 KW power capacity Single phase Air cooled Rated AC frequency - 60 Hz Weather/sound resistance enclosure Liquid propane fuel 100 amp service rated automatic transfer switch Accessory Items: All accessory items must be compatible per the generator manufacturer's instructions. Whole home surge protection device 12V Battery Remote/Wi-Fi monitoring capability Installation: All materials and components shall be installed per the manufacturer's instructions. Install a 3-inch concrete pad at the target location. Provide and install new generator upon the concrete pad. The generator shall be positioned to meet all clearance requirements. The Contractor will provide equipment, delivery, rigging and setting and turnkey services for all electrical and plumbing installation, inclusive of inspections. The Contractor will be responsible for obtaining any building, electrical or plumbing permits thatmay be required. Electrical services will include the complete installation of the generator, automatic transfer switch, and all accessories, including generator preparation, wiring for the automatic transfer switch and generator, earthing, grounding & bonding by code, and any other work as required. Plumbing servicesinclude the complete installation of the liquid propane fuel connection, including any required trenching and bends, and any other work as required. Gas piping shall be installed within 20 feet of the gas meter. Perform final startup, testing and training upon completion of services. Where required by law, contractors must possess a valid license/registration to perform services in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
