Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Missoula, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: installing approximately 2067 LF of 8-inch Class 350 DIP, 85 LF of 6-inch Class 350 DIP, and 57 LF of 10-inch Class 350 DIP water main in Dearborn Avenue, Livingston Avenue, and Lester Street in Missoula, MT. Connections will be made to existing water mains and fire hydrants will be installed. The existing water services will be swapped and connected to the new mains. Associated appurtenances, fittings, and other items necessary to complete the project are detailed on the construction plans. All restoration of disturbed areas including asphalt, concrete, gravel, landscaping, irrigation, and other miscellaneous work are included. This work includes the furnishing and installation of equipment, materials and related appurtenances in the following trades: piping, concrete, landscaping, paving, and other related trades. The work will be done under a single contract. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Missoula, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Construction Performance Bond and a Construction (Labor and Materials) Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR(s) or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of the state of Montana in accordance with the schedule of Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates established by the schedule of Montana Prevailing Wage Rates established by the Montana Department of Labor and Industry included in the Project Manual. The contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated on the basis of race, ancestry, color, physical or mental disability, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital of familial status, creed, ex-offender status, physical condition, political belief, public assistance status or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, except where these criteria are reasonable bona fide occupational qualifications.
