Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bartlett, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The scope of work includes engineering services for resurfacing various streets within the Village limits, including removal and replacement of curb & gutter and sidewalk, ADA compliant crosswalks, pavement marking, as well as driveway and landscape restoration as needed. Responsibilities include determination of removal limits for asphalt surfaces, sidewalks, and curb and gutter (including crosswalk sections), ADA crosswalk design if necessary, preparation of bid documents, coordination with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and the General Contractor, material and shop drawing reviews, construction inspection and documentation per IDOT requirements, preparation and processing of pay requests and change orders, and preparation of project closeout documents. Interested firms must be IDOT prequalified and experienced with IDOT documentation for Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) funds. Submittals must include the firm's name, contact person, address, brief firm history, the specific project being applied for, key staff names and resumes (limited to three pages), relevant experience within five years by the proposed staff, project understanding and approach, critical project components, and distinguishing information about the firm.
