This project seeks a qualified consultant and fluvial geomorphologist to complete a detailed ecological restoration design for the Annandale Former Golf Course Lands. The scope includes assessment of existing site conditions, preparation of draft and final design drawings and reports, and supporting technical analyses. A revised fluvial geomorphological assessment is required, updating a previous assessment to inform feasibility and design of potential stream restoration. Tasks may also include geotechnical investigation as needed. The restoration project focuses on restoring floodplain wetlands and drainage features, as well as possible stream restoration of Duffins Creek. The primary goal is to develop a detailed restoration design to restore pre-development floodplain conditions, improve habitat quality, and channel stability through wetland habitat restoration, revegetation, and potential soft bank treatments. Question Deadline 01/29/2026 at 4:00 PM ET Forest, meadow, and trail elements shown in the concept plan are out-of-scope for the consultant's detailed restoration design, as are forest restoration planting plans, meadow restoration plans, seed mixes, trail alignment, trail design, and Duffins Creek crossing design. However, the consultant is responsible for grading associated with forest areas as described. Instructions to bidders include preparing and submitting the proposal through the electronic bidding system only, following all instructions and completing all required forms and uploads. Proposals must clearly address project understanding, relevant experience, methodology, team qualifications, work plan, project schedule, and pricing. All submissions must be complete, clear, and concise. The consultant team must demonstrate experience and qualifications suitable to the ecologically focused scope, including the involvement of a qualified fluvial geomorphologist and supporting disciplines for hydrologic, hydraulic, and grading components. All deliverables must be submitted electronically in specified formats.
