The work includes upgrading and replacing existing building mechanical systems and other related work at Wyoming Indian High School including but not limited to mechanical equipment upgrades, new doors and door hardware, and a new Chiller Yard and enclosure surround. Bidders and sub-bidders having questions, requiring clarification, interpretation or any RFIs regarding the procurement documents shall make a written request via email. Requests to use alternate or equal products other than those specified in the contract documents are due by the specified deadline. Bidders and sub-bidders must submit all manufacturer's specifications, descriptive literature, finishes and fabrics available, and any other pertinent information for product approval. Site visits for field measurements may take place by contacting the district representative. Before submitting a bid, the prime bidder must attend the pre-bid conference (if mandatory) to visit the site and thoroughly familiarize themselves with the conditions affecting the work. No extra payments will be allowed on account of extra work made necessary by failure to do so. Access at times other than those noted is strictly prohibited and entry must be coordinated through the district office. A list of proposed subcontractors and suppliers must be submitted within 24 hours of bid opening, including a description of work, contractor's full legal name, subcontractor amount, and suppliers. The list, in addition to certificates of residency for each Wyoming resident proposed subcontractor listed, must be provided within 24 hours after bid opening. The general contractor is not allowed to change the list of proposed subcontractors after submission. Failure to fill out the form completely and as required may result in rejection of the bid. Bids may not be modified, withdrawn, or canceled for forty-five days after the bid opening date. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process.
