Spartanburg County is seeking bids from vendors to perform and carry out, those services necessary to complete the Berry Shoals at Duncan Reidville Road Round About Project. The Project consist of traffic control, clearing and grubbing, demolition, grading, storm drainage, curb and gutter, asphalt paving, concrete, signage, pavement striping, site stabilization, cleanup and other items as shown in the Project Documents located in Appendix A containing a detailed scope of work, specifications, and instructions. Liquid Asphalt Binder Indexing: For this contract, liquid asphalt binder PG64-22 (Item 4011004) will be paid for based on an index value. The monthly index value can be found via the below link: https://www.scdot.org/business/constructionletting-monthlyindex.aspx For the purposes of bidding on this contract, please utilize the index value as of February 1, 2026. Completion Schedule and Liquidated Damages: As part of this bid submittal the County is requesting that bidders provide a construction schedule that includes a time for performance for this entire contract. The provided schedule will be utilized as part of the evaluation process. The intent is for the provided schedule (particularly the final completion date for the contract) to become a part of the contract documents. For bidding purposes, please assume that work associated with this contract may begin as early as March 1, 2026. The issuance of a purchase order by the County will serve as the official notice to proceed. If the issuance of a purchase order occurs after the start date illustrated on a submitted schedule, the final completion date will be adjusted accordingly (if necessary).
