Georgetown Municipal Water & Sewer Service (GMWSS) is accepting sealed bids for the delivery and installation of the “South Side Water Distribution Improvements – Etter Lane” project. The project includes the installation of approximately 2,450 linear feet of 16”, 10”, and 8” water line, 720 feet of a 20” HDPE Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) beneath a creek, and ductile iron fittings, along with all related appurtenances as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. Bids must be submitted as hard copies by mail or hand delivery, clearly marked on the envelope. Only bidders on the Issuing Office’s Plan Holders List will have their bids opened. A certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the bid shall accompany the bid. GMWSS reserves the right to waive any bidding informalities and to reject any or all bids for any reason. The project is owner funded and is not subject to federal wage and hour provisions.
