Renovation of a mixed-use development in Brimley, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade clubhouse / community center; and educational facility.

All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of the gross bid payable to the Bay Mills Indian Community, as liquidated damages for breach of contract if the bidder refuses or neglects to enter into the contract as per his bid. Performance/Payment Bonds are required. The Bay Mills Indian Community Reservation is a tax-exempt entity; no sales tax shall be included in the contractors' bid amounts. The Owner will furnish the successful bidders with a letter describing the taxexempt status and procedures to be followed regarding sales tax exemption. Event bid description: Bids will be taken on a Single Prime Contract Basis for each project or combined as described in the Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be tabulated. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked, "BID FOR: BAY MILLS COMMUNITY COLLEGE" and separately "KINGS CLUB - BRIMLEY, MICHIGAN", along with bidder's name, schedule of values per project manual divisions, and an estimated construction. E-mail bids will be accepted on or before the date and time of the Bid Closing. E-mail bid shall be sent to: dabedell@bmcc.edu, wgravelle@baymills.org, & drowan@dsgw.com. No Bidder shall modify, withdraw, or cancel their Bid or any part thereof for sixty (60) days after the time designated for the receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or bids and to waive any defects, irregularities or information in any proposal or bid, and to award the contracts to other than the lowest bidder, if in their discretion the interests of the project will be best served thereby. Work to be included but is not limited to is as follows: Concrete, Precast Hollow Core Planks, Masonry CMU with a single wythe utility brick, Steel (Metals), Carpentry-WoodsPlastics, and Composites, Thermal and Moisture Protection, Openings, Finishes, Specialties, Furnishings, Earthwork to accommodate, Civil, MEP, etc. Project to follow requirements of State of Michigan and the Bay Mills Indian Community compliances.
