The work includes the construction of a proposed asphalt drive and a gravel parking lot, along with the clearing and regrading of a wooded/cultivated field. The field is to be graded to maintain a 1.00% average slope to promote positive drainage across the future playing areas. All areas must be prepared and seeded to the satisfaction of Port Clinton City Schools by July 2026 for use in the 2026-2027 school year. The contractor is responsible for seeding, fertilizing, and watering. Stormwater improvements are also part of the project. Question Deadline 02/03/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Owner. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Owner as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Bidders must submit sealed bids with all labor, materials, tools, machinery, and equipment accounted for. Bids should be signed, enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "Port Clinton City School Sports Field," and accompanied by a ten percent (10%) bid bond or certified check as a guarantee. Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, and Insurance Certificates are required from the successful bidder. Port Clinton City Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the most favorable bid, with the right to add or subtract from proposal quantities. No bidder may withdraw bids for sixty days after the closing time. Bids received late or without proper security will not be read or considered. Base Bid Engineers Estimate: $425,000.00
