Renovation of a development in Laona, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a development.

Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the installation and rehabilitation of the fire alarm system, including circuit tracing and creation of circuit directories. Work includes fire alarm sales combined with installation, repair, and monitoring services in compliance with applicable codes and standards. The contractor shall complete all tasks within 120 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Location: Blackwell Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, 4155 County Highway H, Laona, WI 54541. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: Between $100,000 and $250,000. All questions pertaining this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit are due no later than 5 February 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Submit all quest *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Work for this project requires the contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery and all necessary valid licenses for the work summarized as follows: 1. Base Item No. 1 - B0405 - GYMNASIUM HVAC DUCT SMOKE DETECTORS. a. Measurement: This item is measured as a Lump Sum quantity. b. Payment: The contract lump sum price as shown in the Schedule of Items includes all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals to: 1) Install duct smoke detectors serving existing packaged HVAC units (2 units), install in ductwork downstream from filters and ahead of any supply branches, connect to fire alarm control panel, interlock smoke detectors with HVAC units to shut them down when smoke is detected. Furnish and install remote key stations if duct smoke detectors are not readily accessible. c. Deficiencies: #150986. 2. Base Item No. 2 -B0420 - DINING/CAREER PREP - FIRE ALARM SYSTEM REHAB b. Payment: The contract lump sum price as shown in the Schedule of Items includes all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals to: 1) Replace the existing fire detection devices with new addressable devices throughout the building, provide devices in additional locations where needed to meet the requirements of the most recent code requirements. 2) Provide drawings, calculations, specifications, product data sheets, and sequence of operations from a fire alarm/electrical engineer licensed in the State of Wisconsin, for a new Class A system in accordance with the latest editions of NFPA 72 and 101, NEC. The Government will provide floor plans in AutoCAD .dwg format prior to the beginning of work. 3) Re-use existing conduit to the extent permissible by code. 4) Replace wiring. All fire alarm wiring to be in electrical metal tubing (EMT) conduit. 5) Re-use the existing addressable fire alarm control/annunciator panel (Simplex Model 4007) installed in 2019. 6) Testing and documentation are also required, as outlined in NFPA 72. Provide inspection and testing documentation in accordance with NFPA. 7) Provide record of completion and re-acceptance testing witnessed by a third party in accordance with NFPA. 8) Remove and dispose of old devices, conduits, cables, and other alarm system components that are not re-used for new plan. c. Deficiencies: #151081. 3. Base Item No. 3 -B0427 - EDUCATION - FIRE ALARM SYSTEM INSTALLATION a. Measurement: This item is measured as a Lump Sum quantity. b. Payment: The contract lump sum price as shown in the Schedule of Items includes all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals to: 1) Furnish and install addressable devices for the lower level of the building compatible with the existing Notifier Model NFS-320 Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). 2) Provide drawings, calculations, specifications, product data sheets, and sequence of operations from a fire alarm/electrical engineer licensed in the State of Wisconsin, for a new Class A system in accordance with the latest editions of NFPA 72 and 101, NEC. The Government will provide floor plans in AutoCAD dwg format prior to the beginning of work. 3) Re-use existing conduit and wiring the extent permissible by code. 4) Replace old, non-code compliant wiring. All fire alarm wiring to be in electrical metal tubing (EMT) conduit. 5) Testing and documentation are also required, as outlined in NFPA 72. Provide inspection and testing documentation in accordance with NFPA. 6) Provide record of completion and re-acceptance testing witnessed by a third party in accordance with NFPA. 7) Remove and dispose of old devices, conduits, cables, and other alarm system components that are not re-used for new plan. c. Deficiencies: #132806. 4. Base Item No. 4 -B0440 - DORMITORY #3 & #4 FIRE ALARM SYSTEM REHAB b. Payment: The contract lump sum price as shown in the Schedule of Items includes all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals to: 1) Replace the existing fire detection devices with new addressable devices throughout the building, provide devices in additional locations where needed to meet the requirements of the most recent code requirements. 2) Provide drawings, calculations, specifications, product data sheets, and sequence of operations from a fire alarm/electrical engineer licensed in the State of Wisconsin, in accordance with the latest editions of NFPA 72 and 101, NEC. For a new Class A system. The Government will provide floor plans in AutoCAD xx.dwg format prior to the beginning of work. 3) Re-use existing conduit to the extent permissible by code. 4) Replace all wiring. All new fire alarm wiring to be in electrical metal tubing (EMT) conduit. 5) Re-use the existing addressable fire alarm control/annunciator panels (2 each Simplex Model 4007) installed in 2020. 6) Testing and documentation are also required, as outlined in NFPA 72. Provide inspection and testing documentation in accordance with NFPA. 7) Provide record of completion and re-acceptance testing witnessed by a third party in accordance with NFPA. 8) Remove and dispose of old devices, conduits, cables, and other alarm system components that are not re-used for new plan. c. Deficiencies: #151015 5. Optional Item No. 5- B403, B405, B407, B425, B426, B444 CIRCUIT DIRECTORIES a. Measurement: This item is measured as a Lump Sum quantity. b. Payment: The contract lump sum price as shown in the Schedule of Items includes all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals to: c. Trace and/or physically verify electric branch circuits and create new circuit directories for each panelboard indicated in the drawings. Provide draft circuit directories to the COR for approval prior to placing in panels. d. Deficiencies: 150977, 150985, 150993, 151030, 151034, 151048
