The County of Schenectady is accepting bids for the provision of Highway Maintenance, specifically Vegetation Control, for use by the Schenectady County Department of Engineering and Public Works. Digital copies of specifications are available from BidNet Direct or by request to the Purchasing Department. Paper copies can be picked up from the Purchasing Department at the Schenectady County Office Building with advance email request. All proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked “Bid” and stating the title of the bid to the Purchasing Agent. Woman and minority owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. Schenectady County may investigate bidders to determine their responsibility and reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informality in a bid. Insurance is required. The County reserves the right to award by line item. Bids must be physically submitted.
