Site work for a water / sewer project in Saluda, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the construction of sewer replacement and rehabilitation, involving relocation and rehabilitation of approximately 1,000 linear feet of 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch gravity sewer using dig and replace and pipebursting methods. Work includes sewer video, manhole replacement, manhole rehabilitation, asphalt overlay, traffic control, sewer abandonment, and appurtenances. All bidders must have a State of South Carolina Contractors WL4 or higher License. Proposals for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the provided proposal form and contain prices in words and figures for the work bid on. The project is proposed to be funded with a State Revolving Fund loan, requiring compliance with SRF, Davis Bacon Wage Determination, and American Iron and Steel Special Conditions. All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of Town of Saluda CPW, in the amount of at least five percent of the lump sum bid. The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each equal to one hundred percent of the contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
