The Scope of Work includes partial demolition (removal) of the existing timber bulkhead and installation of built-up Class II revetment stone, site grading, drainage improvements, and other items as described in the drawings and specifications. Written questions and comments regarding the Specifications, Permit Drawings and Bid Submission Documents shall be directed to Emily Gilmer, Director, Talbot County Department of Parks & Recreation, 10028 Ocean Gateway, Easton, Maryland; email: egilmer@talbotcountymd.gov . Written questions shall be received by no later than Noon one on Thursday, January 29,2026, in order that responses can be provided to all bidders in advance of the bid opening date. Partial sets of the Construction and Bid Submission Documents will not be available from the issuing office. The Owner shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Construction and Bid Submission Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the issuing office. Bids will not be accepted from bidders who have not registered, obtained and paid for the Construction and Bid Submission Documents. Bid security shall be furnished as stipulated in the project Specifications, Information for Bidders. Funding sources for the project will be local funding. The County Council of Talbot County, Maryland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid, alternate, or any portions thereof when, in their judgment, the public will be better served.
