Renovation of a library in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
As of March 05, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. East Longmeadow Public Library is soliciting written quote responses from contractors for the removal, furniture moving, and installation of ADA compliant flooring. This is a state funded project estimated at $29,830. Written responses may be emailed or delivered to the East Longmeadow Public Library and will be accepted until the bid deadline. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove current flooring and install a new main level flooring with a matte, non-glare, non-slip,durable, and sound-absorbing vinyl tile flooring. Schedule: The contractor shall propose a start and completion date upon written request submission. The DPW Building Facilities Manager must approve the schedule. The project must be completed during the Spring of 2026. Submittal Requirements: Each written response shall include: 1. Itemized cost estimate (materials, equipment, and labor- see attached prevailing wage rates) 2. Estimated time to complete work 3. Proof of insurance (liability and workers’ compensation) 4. Reference from at least one similar project
