The Town of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, acting by and through the Department of Public Works invites sealed Bids for the proposed "Town of East Longmeadow, 2025 Roads Program". Pavement construction and activities on various Town-owned streets, totaling approximately 4,428 linear feet of roadway including milling,structure adjustments/replacements, overlay, curbing, line striping and road markings. All work is to be completed no later than November 28, 2025. The work involved in this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: Milling and patching of streets, where directed;, adjustment of Town manholes, catch basins and water valve boxes; milling; the resurfacing (with one or more of the following types or mix, i.e. top mix or modified top mix of the full width of the roadway pavement); siltation fencing, the restoration of tree belts with loam in disturbed areas and adjacent to such pavement and curbing (non-pay item), curb removal resetting, berm installation, pavement markings, and any other work necessary to complete the job. "MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Pavement Surfacing, for the project with an estimated value of $714,840 will be required under this contract". Wages are subject to Massachusetts minimum wage rates as per M.G.L. Chapter 149,Section 26 to 27H, inclusive.
