Site work and paving for a civil project in Virginia, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
MnDOT requests letters of interest for project development and design deliverables for State Project (SP) 6917-149 and SP 6917-155. These tied projects include the replacement of the Trunk Highway (TH) 53 northbound Bridge 6602 over the Saint Louis River and construction of a Reduced Conflict Intersection (RCI) at TH 53 and Townline/Ellsmere Road. The goal of this solicitation is to obtain consultant services needed to bring both projects through preliminary and final design phases. Prospective, pre-qualified responders who have any questions regarding this request for letters of interest must submit questions, by e-mail, to the Contract Administrator: Jerald Paulson jerry.paulson@state.mn.us Questions regarding this announcement must be received, via e-mail, by the Contact Administrator identified above no later than 2:00PM Central Time on 01/20/2026.
