Site work and new construction of a conference / convention center in Virginia, Minnesota. Completed plans call civil work for a conference / convention center.
Project scope includes but is not limited to the construction of a social and event venue intended for gatherings, events, performances and business meetings. The City of Virginia, MN is assisting G&N Enterprise, LLC in obtaining sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide Design-Build Services for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and Fire Suppression Systems associated with the construction of The Forge Social Haus, a commercial facility to be constructed in Virginia, MN. As part of the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation (IRRR) grant requirements--and to support eligibility for other potential governmental funding--the City is coordinating with the property owner to secure bids related to the project.
