Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Middlebury, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be performed includes paving streets and other areas designated within the Town, installation of drainage facilities, milling of the existing asphalt pavement, and installation of ADA sidewalk curb ramps. Each bidder is required to submit a bid security equal to 5% of the contract price in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, to guarantee execution of a contract and delivery of all required bonds within 14 calendar days of the award. The successful bidder must furnish an approved performance bond and payment bond, each equal to 100% of the contract price, for the benefit of the Town and subcontractors, laborers, material suppliers, and others performing work for the project. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and all terms and conditions included in the Specification Documents. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, delete portions, waive any informalities or irregularities, and award a contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Award is contingent on availability of funds. Question Deadline 01/29/2026 All requests for clarification to this solicitation must be received at least two (2) business days before the opening date to allow for the issuance of any addendum determined by the Town to be necessary. Requests shall be made in writing and may be directed to the Town of Middlebusy Town Manager, 418 North Main Street, Middlebury, Indiana 46540.
