Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in East Ridge, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The work consists of furnishing all supervision, materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appliances necessary for the full-depth repair and/or milling and overlay of several City streets. Major elements include cold planning (milling), bituminous concrete leveling mix, bituminous concrete binder mix, bituminous concrete surface mix, full depth removal and replacement of base and pavement, mineral aggregate base and/or bituminous concrete base, flowable fill and/or CTB base for bridging settlement areas over sewer lines, saw cutting pavement, sanitary sewer manhole adjustments, pavement markings, temporary traffic control, and any incidentals required to complete construction. All bidders must be licensed and comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor’s Licensing Act. Sealed bid envelopes must be marked "2026 Street Improvements Bid." The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to award the bid in the City's best interest.
