Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Cross Plains, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of culvert and ditch work in Pine Bluff, West Mineral Point Road. The work includes installing one Town culvert across West Mineral Point Road, six private residence driveway culverts, approximately 900 feet of ditch work, and 2,000 square yards of reseeding. Bidders are required to provide a bid that itemizes the cost for each culvert replacement and the cost of the ditch work. An alternate price should be provided if two of the six culverts are removed from the project. The bid documents currently exclude one culvert replacement, and an addendum will be posted for the remaining culvert. Bids should also include a sworn statement of financial status, equipment, and experience. The contract will be awarded to the lowest price responsible bid from a qualified bidder, but the Town reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or award to a single or multiple bidders.
